From April 26 to May 5, 2025, the 34th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), under the theme “Knowledge Illuminates Our Community”. Organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, the fair attracted over 1,400 exhibitors from 96 countries, making it one of the largest cultural gatherings in the region.

This year’s fair featured several notable highlights:

  • Focus Personality: The fair honored Avicenna (Ibn Sina), the renowned philosopher and physician, celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of his seminal work, The Canon of Medicine.

  • Guest of Honour: The Caribbean region was celebrated for its rich cultural heritage and literary contributions.

  • Book of the World: One Thousand and One Nights was recognized for its enduring influence on global literature.

For İntrotema, participating in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025 was a significant opportunity to engage with the global publishing community. We showcased our diverse portfolio, including Turkish literature, children’s books, and illustrated works, to a wide international audience.

The fair provided a platform for meaningful discussions on the future of publishing, digital content, and cross-cultural collaborations. We connected with publishers, rights professionals, and cultural institutions, exploring potential partnerships and expanding our network in the MENA region and beyond.

Attending the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair reaffirmed our commitment to fostering cultural exchange and promoting diverse voices in the global literary landscape. We look forward to continuing these conversations and building lasting relationships in future editions of the fair.
