As an infant, a young girl named Lanlan is sent to the countryside to live with her paternal grandmother. Despite the humble living conditions, she experiences an idyllic and joyous childhood, enveloped by the deep affection of her grandmother, the watchful care of her brother Daohe, and the boundless freedom of the open fields.
