Starting in January 2025, İntrotema expanded its services beyond publishing to support professionals in TV, cinema, documentaries, YouTube, and animation.
Our licensing work covers books, film, television, and digital rights—ensuring that literary content can travel across multiple formats.
Our approach is global is scope:
• Bringing stories across languages and cultures, serving as a bridge across formats, markets, media and platforms
• Encouraging cross-merchandising opportunities that link multiple markets at onc
To maximize opportunities, our team:
• Scouts intellectual property with adaptation potential
• Prepares pitch materials and story treatments tailored for media professionals
• Provides full legal and contractual support, helping clients secure strong agreements and negotiate complex deals with confidence
• Manages the entire licensing process, ensuring smooth collaboration between rights holders and media professionals worldwide
In practice, this often means:
• Facilitating connections between publishers and production houses
• Engaging with film commissions, cultural ministries, and streaming platforms
• Leveraging a broad industry network to open doors at every stage
As part of our services, we have also launched Media Match within the İstanbul Publishing Fellowship.
This initiative connects publishers with digital platforms, enabling production companies and creators to explore new adaptation opportunities through direct B2B meetings.
We also maintain a strong presence at major audiovisual markets as well as international publishing fairs, ensuring that our clients’ titles are consistently visible across industries.
Looking Ahead:
• Media Match will expand into new formats and events
• Our licensing unit will continue to adapt to emerging opportunities in publishing, film, and digital media alike
