Patikare lives in a house with a lush garden, nestled among tall apartment buildings. The other neighborhood cats look on with envy, for his owner, Ms. Gün, adores him and never fails to spoil him, especially on the days she receives her salary.

One day, while wandering the garden, the neighbor cats tell Patikare just how lucky he is and suggest he should find a gift for his owner in return. Eager to surprise her, Patikare immediately sets off. Finding the gift is easy enough for a clever cat, but whether this "gift" will have the intended effect on Ms. Gün remains a mystery.
