Ben Furman

Ben Furman (b. 1953, Helsinki) is an internationally renowned Finnish psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and pioneer in solution-focused psychology. Co-founder of the Helsinki Brief Therapy Institute, he is globally recognized for developing innovative methods for personal development and child psychology—most notably the "Kids' Skills" and "Reteaming" programs created with Tapani Ahola. His highly effective approaches have taken him across five continents, with his books translated into over 20 languages.

Beyond his clinical impact, Furman is a prominent media personality in Finland, having hosted his own popular psychological TV talk show and the live radio program Radio Therapist.
