The White Room
Zoran ŽivkovićWhat if your missing wife reappeared in videos that defied the laws of time and geography?
The White Room is a psychological thriller by Zoran Živković that unfolds over twenty-four bizarre hours in the life of a creative writing professor. It begins with a simple fact: Ivana has disappeared. Surveillance footage shows her entering a building she never leaves, leading the police to assume she simply walked out on her marriage.
But then the emails arrive. They contain links to impossible videos: Ivana standing in a tropical jungle, yet wearing her winter coat from Belgrade. As the videos become more surreal, intelligence agencies step in, suspecting the professor of orchestrating a complex terrorist plot. What began as a domestic mystery spirals into a metaphysical puzzle, culminating in a final video that renders everything before it meaningless.
